Hay Stack Stables is located on almost 100 acres of land. We have many different trails for different: level riders, ages, and times. If you choose to go on a trail ride you will get a 15 minute lesson on the basics of riding in a riding pen then you will go with a trained instructor/rider on one of the many trails.

To be able to ride...
All people going on the trail ride must wear boots with a heel. (ie. hiking boots). Hay Stack Stables has a few pairs we could lone out but we can not allow anyone to ride in sandals or running shoes. In order to go on a trail ride each person must sign a waiver and and anyone under the age of 18 must wear an approved helmet. Hay Stack Stables has helmets for everyone to use if you do not have your own or for any adults who would like to wear a helmet.

Ponying
Dont feel comfortable controling your own horse. We can pony you, which means the instructor/leader will have a rode attached to your horse so you can have a comfortable ride.
|
|
|
You Control the Horse
If you choose to have complete control over your own horse then someone will be riding in front of you and behind you on another horse. |
Groups
As of now we can take groups of 4 out. Trail Rides are also for all ages now. If you would like your child to come out for a trail ride one of our helpers will walk beside or lead them on a horse so you can have some family fun.
